Is there a Hood to Coast, Portland to Coast or Rainer to Pacific relay in your racing plans for this summer? Or perhaps it is time to settle the score with some of your cross town the high school running rivals.
Better yet, maybe you and two of your running comrades are looking for a fun way to team up and challenge each other.
Whatever your reason, the “Falcon 15k Relay ” is the event for you.
The Falcon 15k Relay is a race where teams made up of 3 individual runners can push and pursue each other over a 5km course. Each team member will run the same 5km route and upon finishing tag off to the next runner on their team. In the end, all relay teams will cover a total of 15,000 meters.
For participants not interested in being part of a relay team, the Falcon 15k relay has a something for you. Runners who choose not to be part of a relay team have the option of completing a 15k, 10k or 5k course. Walkers are welcome to cover the 5k course.
The Falcon 15k Relay and runs/walk are a fund raising event organized by students in Liberty High Schools Hospitality & Human Services (HHS) Academy. Proceeds from this event will help fund the “Liberty Fit” running program at the high school.
Please join us on April 16th and be part of this exciting event!
